Lohan bail upped after 'violation'

Actor Lindsay Lohan may have violated the terms of her parole in the US, resulting in a judge doubling her bail to $200,000 (£138,000).
Since May, Lohan has had to wear an alcohol bracelet, which monitors the amount of alcohol she consumes. A Los Angeles superior court judge ruled that because of "results" from the bracelet, Lohan must now return to court on July 6 when it will be ultimately decided if she has broken her probation.
The 23-year-old was put on probation in August 2007 because of minor drug offences and three driving offences.
The violation was apparently reported when Lohan turned up at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.
Lohan's lawyer Shawn Holley and deputy district attorney Danette Meyers, who is dealing with Lohan's case, refused to make any comment.
The actor was forced to wear the bracelet because she failed to turn up to court.
