A music fan has been seriously hurt at a dance concert after he plummeted from a balcony.
The 24-year-old man was in the audience at Dundee's Caird Hall when he fell an estimated 15 feet during a sold-out performance by The Prodigy.
Ambulance and police arrived at the auditorium at 10pm and took him to Ninewells Hospital in a serious condition.
A Tayside Police spokesman said detectives had launched an investigation to find out if the man, from Angus, was deliberately pushed onto the floor below while the dance group were on stage.
The spokesman said: "A man has fallen off a balcony at a Prodigy concert."
The Prodigy concert, supported by the Foreign Beggars, was one of the final sold-out UK dates in the group's Run With The Wolves Tour, which were included in the middle of a round-the-world tour called Invaders, due to fan demand.
